About the artist
Malou Kalay is a versatile personality and a talented artist. She was a police officer, loves motorcycles, and has now chosen to take her talent seriously. Malou is self-taught and paints intuitively. This means her artwork can be a large abstract canvas, created with acrylic paint. But it can also easily become an intimate portrait, created with oil paint or watercolor. Or flowers, in a nostalgic, joyful moment. What emerges depends entirely on her mood and the circumstances. This makes her work, just like her personality, highly versatile.
