About us
Art & Pictures Gallery was founded in 2018 by Nicky Huisman. We are an online platform with an exhibition space in Amsterdam, which is open by appointment.
We work with a diverse group of artists and photographers; established names and emerging talent, from home and abroad. This makes our collection pleasantly versatile: paintings, digital art, nature photography, mixed media and beautiful portraits. There is a choice of original work, limited editions and art prints.Â
All artworks & photographs in our collection have one thing in common, they are personal favorites of Nicky Huisman.
From a young age, Nicky regularly visited museums, galleries and art fairs. It was therefore entirely to be expected that she would work in the cultural sector. Nicky worked for several well-known Dutch museums for many years (Boijmans van Beuningen, Het Mauritshuis, Singer Laren). Her love for (the history of) art and photography grew into a passion. Founding Art & Pictures Gallery gives Nicky the opportunity to share her passion with a wide audience.Â
