About the artist
Malou Kalay is a versatile personality and a talented artist. She has been a police officer, loves motorcycling and has now chosen to take her talent seriously. Malou is self-taught and paints intuitively. This means that the artwork can be a large abstract canvas, made with acrylic paint. But it can also be an intimate portrait, made with oil paint or watercolor. Or flowers, in a nostalgic, happy moment. What emerges is entirely dependent on her mood and the circumstances. This makes her work, just like her personality, very versatile.
