About the photographer 

 
Arie J. van den Hout is a Dutch nature photographer. At a young age, Arie was overwhelmed by the untouched beauty of nature. Enthusiastic about capturing his intimate encounters with animals on film, he bought his first camera at the age of fifteen. He keeps getting better and discovers more and more beautiful places. First in the Netherlands, then also abroad, such as the Camargue in the South of France. 
 
This leads to a first exhibition, the first presentation about photography and the first newspaper article about his work. When he lives in London for eight years, this new continent offers a lot of space for new discoveries. His equipment gets better and better, as do his photos. Arie continues to develop himself non-stop and now he shares his knowledge and experience in workshops with beginning nature photographers. His photos are frequently published in magazines, diaries, calendars and on postcards.
