About the artist

Loui Jover is a full-time artist from Queensland Australia. He works primarily with ink on paper but also works with oil and acrylic paint and enjoys making collages. Loui has been drawing since he was a child and while other children stop drawing at a certain point in their development, he never has. He draws obsessively every day and fills notebooks with sketches, ideas, cartoons and drawings.

His drawing skills have developed in a natural progression, allowing him to freely use different styles and techniques. Loui studied Commercial and Graphic Arts and has an advanced certificate in Visual Communication.

Jover has a second studio in Fitzroy Melbourne where he comes several times a year to make street art, together with his wife Fee and daughter Jazz. As a child he emigrated with his parents from Europe to Australia. "I have travelled a lot around the world, `the rest is yet to come´."
