Ingrid van der Meer is a passionate digital media artist. With a mix of carefully selected images, she creates a surprisingly new artwork on the computer. Her grungy portraits of women are a mix of different layers, for example, old walls, torn posters, and other textures that appeal to her.

After printing the digital image, she post-processes it by, for example, painting over it or applying different layers of gel. Her work often arises spontaneously during the process.

Ingrid's work is also characterized by the merging of two or more different photos, creating a surprisingly new image by using a mix of human portraits, nature, and architecture.
