Fay Goyarts
In her work, Fay Goyarts (1991) explores how people from different cultures interact and how identity is valued in the age of globalization. At the same time, her work embodies critical reflections on the consumer society we live in and the role social media plays in it.
Fay is a Dutch artist, currently living in The Hague. She holds a BA in Art History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an MA in Business and Media from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
In 2021, she decided to put her theoretical knowledge of art into practice and retrained as an artist. She works with oil paint and ceramics.
From 2016 to 2023, Fay lived and worked in Mexico City, where she was inspired by the cultural heritage and cosmopolitan nature of the city, which is reflected in her work.
