Santiago Borja | The Stormpilot

Santiago Borja was born, raised and lives in Quito, Ecuador. He is a pilot for a major airline in the region. He has been flying long-haul flights between America and Europe for many years, and during those years Santiago has developed a true passion for photography, nature and our planet. 
 
Before becoming a pilot, Santiago studied Software Systems Engineering in Quito, Ecuador at the Pontificia University Católica del Ecuador. He graduated as the best of his year. He then worked for a few years in the development of Software for both public and private organizations, both in Ecuador and remotely in the US. Santiago created, among other things, mobile Android and iOS software for flight and cabin crew. 
 
Santiago Borja is a commercial pilot and currently flies a Boeing 767 between America and Europe. He has been flying this particular aircraft for 10 years. In early 2015, he taught himself to photograph. Santiago then specialized in weather and storms. Lately he is trying new styles such as astrophotography , landscape & portraits.
